Ask you Realtor for details, he or she will get you a copy of those after an offer has been accepted, but well before you close.

If the association is only responsible for trash and recycling, for example, it may be only $20 to $30 a month. If it covers more, and perhaps even includes maintenance of the common areas with things like a pool, whirlpool, playgrounds and such, you can expect your townhome association dues to be much higher than that. But again, if this is a concern, let your Realtor know and he/she will narrow the search to only include the MN townhomes that fit your budget.
